Women & Diversity Circles

The Circle, as described by Jean Shinoda Bolen, is a place that can have a radically positive effect on relationships outside the space, as it provides a model where communicating with sincerity, affection, where speaking, laughing, crying freely, is established as the habitual form of communication in our lives.

It is a circle of EQUALS.

Where we can discover who we are or who we can become.

The circle archetypically represents the figure contained within a seamless circumference and is a symbol of totality.

When the trailing edge, which is the line that delimits the circle, is broken, it is no longer a circle.

In a circle of women and diversity, it is intended to be a safe place and its boundaries must remain intact. Thus, everything that arises within it will be sustained in confidence.

The circle is a safe place, because those of us who live there are committed to treating others with respect.

Here, we recognize that revealing one's intimacy takes courage , and, as Jean Shinoda says, "it is an act that deserves to be honored and kept confidential; if not, you fail that woman, you fail yourself, and you fail the circle," as well as that which is not shared , but is felt internally.

The circle is constructed as a uterine space capable of welcoming, cradling and nourishing .

Where we can find support.

The circle is not therapy nor does it replace it, although healing occurs within it.

We all need a space of FREEDOM in our lives.

A small refuge space.

Benefits

  • It is scientifically proven that when women get together, they generate hormones related to happiness and pleasure.

  • By feeling in a safe space, free of judgment or expectations, we can regulate our nervous system.

  • In a circle you can reconnect with feminine energy and balance it with masculine energy. It is a space where we make room to embrace who we truly are, beyond the daily roles of our work, family, and partner. Connect with feminine aspects such as our intuition, sensitivity, and emotional closeness.

  • This process of reconnecting with ourselves has a profound impact on self-love and self-acceptance. This is because when we openly accept what we are, we can face what we are going through and we can feel more open to accepting ourselves as we are and with what we come.

  • Reactivating the voice of intuition is a key skill to cultivate. Have you ever had the experience of talking to your friends and having them tell you about their problems, and you feel like you can see things more clearly? It's because we are a reflection and because by feeling empathy, we can return to the most sacred part of our intuition.

  • Helping you connect with yourself will also make your relationships with others stronger and flourish.

  • We begin with the variable that brings us back to ourselves, which is our bodies. By starting to relate intimately with your body and its balance, you can become more aware of its needs. By understanding how to re-establish this relationship on a daily basis, you will have practical tools to get out of states of stress caused by factors such as work, the economy, family, partner, or deteriorating health conditions, etc. You will begin to give yourself more priority, to value your well-being more. You will be your priority.

"If I had to put into one word what the circle meant to me, it would be HEALER.

When I saw the announcement I knew that my body and heart needed it, Isa had already been my teacher before so I understood that the workshop was going to be very loving and practical.

It was incredible to meet so many women who inspired me in different ways from their experiences, to understand that I am not alone in my processes as a woman, to sing with them exploring sounds and our inner voice, to understand and feel that together we support each other was beautiful.

Together we did a dance that I felt like the very fire of my being, in each movement I released a lot of what I had inside, it was very therapeutic to feel free in space.

Finally, we closed with a delicious and colorful pambamesa, which I take with me in my heart with much gratitude and affection. Because for me, sharing food is the fundamental force towards change and growth.

Thank you, thank you, thank you."
